Govt offers startups up to ₹50 cr for new drug discovery under pharma scheme

Promotion of Research and Innovation in Pharma amp; MedTech scheme has a total financial outlay of ₹5,000 crore, which includes ₹700 crore to establish Centers of Excellence at seven National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education amp; Research, and ₹4,200 crore to accelerate investments in R amp;D.
