El Zagal, Prairiewood closed for season, 3 other Fargo golf courses set dates

FARGO — Fargo golfers have less than two weeks left of the public golf season as the Fargo Park District has set closure dates on the remaining three open courses. El Zagal and Prairiewood, both nine-hole courses, have closed for the season as of Sunday, Oct. 18. Osgood, another nine-hole course, is set for its seasonal closure at the end of the Sunday, Oct. 25. Rose Creek and Edgewood, the city's two 18-hole offerings, will close following play on Sunday, Nov. 1. The Park District reminds players that once a course closes for the season, they must refrain from playing. "Our superintendents will be applying the necessary snow mold preventatives and walking on turf that has been treated, can break the protective seal that has been applied," the Park District said in a news release.]]>
