Ducks F Ryan Poehling (MCL sprain) out 6-8 weeks

By Field Level Media Oct 13 (Field Level Media) Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Poehling ​will be sidelined ‌for six to eight weeks with an MCL sprain, the team announced Tuesday. Poehling, 27, crashed ‌knee-first ​into the post ⁠while rushing the ⁠net during Saturday s 4-2 road win against the Calgary Flames. He scored his first ​two points of the season in that game, ⁠recording a ⁠goal and an assist ​before leaving with the injury. Poehling ​has 133 points (55 goals, 78 ‌assists) in 363 career games with four teams. He is in his ⁠second season with Anaheim. The Ducks placed Poehling on injured reserve and ⁠brought ‌up 2025 first-round pick ⁠Roger McQueen from ​AHL ‌San Diego. McQueen, 20, has ​three goals ⁠through four games at San Diego and could make his NHL debut Tuesday against the visiting Flames. ( Field ​Level Media)
